As 2011 draws to a close, several wonderful projects in Ibillin and Bethlehem wait for the funding Pilgrims of Ibillin still hopes to provide. Your gift in the next few days can help:
- Provide scholarships for the neediest students at Mar Elias Educational Institutions and the schools of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Jordan and the Holy Land
- Pay for mandated bomb-shelters for the Mar Elias Kindergarten. Without these bomb shelters, the kindergarten could not be licensed for 2012!
- Provide exercise equipment for the Fitness Center in Ibillin. The building is renovated and ready; now they need our gifts to buy the necessary equipment.

"Building Peace on Desktops"
Don't miss our new award-winning DVD, "Building Peace on Desktops," which tells the inspiring story of the Mar Elias Educational Institutions, founded by Abuna Elias Chacour in the Arab village of Ibillin in northern Israel. The DVD won a 2011 Telly Award for excellence as a non-profit documentary. Congratulations to Re:Act Media and videographers Chris Tyree, Roger Richards, and Billy Ekofo for their great work filming and producing this video.
Fawaz Hag Ahmad, one of the teachers featured in the video, wrote: "I saw it many times and every time I see it I like it and become proud of our common work. With warm regards from the warm hearts of Mar Elias."
