Mar Elias Technical College 

The Mar Elias College was founded in 1994 with less than 100 students who took their classes in the high school classrooms. In 2004 there were more than 800 students enrolled. They attend classes in a new building that was completed in the summer of 1998. The students take general education classes and also have opportunities to specialize in the technical fields of computer science, electronics, air conditioning and refrigeration, fashion design, graphic arts, business practices, civil engineering and other areas. Degrees in these fields of study will equip the graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain significant work in order to establish themselves and their families as productive members of the larger society.
