CRIES FOR PEACE FILM AND FEAST NIGHT--Join others interested in the ongoing issues between the Israeli and Palestinian people on Sunday, January 27 at 6:15PM in Fellowship Hall for a Middle Eastern buffet dinner ($8) and to see the film "Land of the Settlers:  The Wall."  A spirited discussion will follow the film. 

Please RSVP that you are planning to attend this event to Pat Plant at  408-737-7370, by email (patplant@comcast.net) or sign up at the table this coming Sunday, January 20, so we'll have enough food!

Plus we will need some help in setting up at 5:30PM, picking up the food (about 5:45--willing to pay and be paid back), welcoming people and accepting money at the door at 6:00, plus cleaning up.  Whether you already indicated you can help or not, please let Miriam know what tasks you can agree to and time you can be there.

The second film will be on February 24; save that date.

Also a reminder to mark your calendar: Fr. Chacour is leading an Ecumenical worship service  at SJ Civic Auditorium at General Assembly on Wed., June 25 at 8 pm.  [You don't have to register for GA ($20) to attend]  We'll try to carpool from our church.
