Retirement Account Contributions

Make a direct contribution from your IRA to Pilgrims of Ibillin:  People older than 70½ can transfer a donation directly from their traditional IRA to a charity, which can count as their required minimum distribution. It doesn’t count as a tax-free transfer if you withdraw the money first and then make a donation to the charity. Questions? See our Planned Giving page for retirement and legacy contribution options. Please contact your financial or tax advisor for additional guidance.

Build bridges of help and hope!  Your gift — no matter how big or small — will change a life for good. Thank you for your generosity and prayers!

Jean Hopson Bequest

Pilgrims of Ibillin received a very generous bequest from Jean Hopson that provided much needed renovations on the Mar Elias junior high, high school offices, and teacher’s lounge, a sun shelter for kindergarteners, and contributed an extra $20,000 for scholarships for over three dozen children in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gifts like these make a significant difference for Mar Elias students, transforming and preparing them for a more just and peaceful future.
